Your support goes a long way

  • Reach out to one (1) child from a slum, village, or institution for an entire year through 40 high-quality Sport for Development sessions ranging from 45 minutes to 2 hours.
  • Sport and recreational equipment will be provided including soccer balls, handballs, cones, and markers.
  • Healthy and nutritional snacks will be provided at each session.
  • The child will learn to exercise his or her right to play, will be encouraged to take part in formal education, and will be mentored to become gender sensitive, health and hygiene conscious, and be tolerant of others.
  • Through experiential learning, the child will experiment with cooperation, team-building, problem solving, leadership, respect for others, and will work to build self-efficacy.
  • The child will become part of a team that works in improving on the field and also takes an active role in community events like advocacy drives and cleanliness drives.
  • All sessions will be monitored and supervised by senior level Magic Bus staff.
  • Reach out to fifty (50) children and two (2) young adult volunteers (Community Sports Coaches) from one of the following for an entire year:  a slum, village, or institution.
  • Track your community using our online system (coming soon!) and get annual reports filled with individual and community stories.
  • Provide sports equipment for fifty (50) children and provide shirts, track suits, shoes, and hats for two (2) CSCs.
  • Healthy and nutritious snacks will be provided at each session.
  • Provide a 7-day intensive training for two (2) Community Sports Coaches (CSCs) on developmental and sporting skills, followed by a 2-day refresher course each year.
  • Both CSCs gain knowledge to deliver programs, become role models in the community, and build capacity in leadership and responsibility.
  • All fifty (50) children receive 40 Sport for Development sessions in one year, where they learn to exercise his or her right to play, will be encouraged to take part in formal education, and will be mentored to become gender sensitive, health and hygiene conscious, and be tolerant of others.
  • All sessions will be monitored and supervised by senior level Magic Bus staff.
